MNDF Northern Area soldiers assist a vessel in distress

MNDF Northern Area soldiers assisted a vessel named “Inzaaru” that was in distress due to an engine breakdown. The incident occurred while travelling from HDh.Nolhivaram with a single person on-board the vessel and reported at around 0940hrs. Upon receiving the call from Nolhivaram Island Council, MNDF Kulhudhuffushi Post soldiers attended the scene. It is stated that the distressed vessel was tugged to Nolhivaram Island by another vessel that also attended to the scene.
