MNDF participates in the “Nalafehi Male’” program

MNDF has participated in the “Nalafehi Male’” program that is aimed at cleaning and beautifying the face of Male’ City and its streets. This program is organized by the Male’ City Council and Business Image Group Pvt Ltd (BIG).
Under this program that is projected for the following five years, the task of cleaning out the lagoon of Male’ City is given to the MNDF. Therefore, after the inauguration ceremony of this program, MNDF soldiers have commenced a program to clean out the lagoon of Male’. During today’s event that started at the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) area, a large number of waste material were removed from the lagoon including polythene bags, bottles, iron rods and tires.
MNDF Male’ Area who launched today’s event stated that this program would be conducted once in every month in future. Coast Guard and Marine Corps soldiers actively participated in this program.
