Ahmed Mohamed said “then the trust investors have for Maldives will be lost. Also investors will hold up investing in Maldives. The government will research the agreement and find the problems that will make loss for the government and try to solve it through discussing with GMR.
Due to the change in leadership of the country on the 7th of this month many people have been raising questions about GMR. In related to this the President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik clarified twice while answering the queries of the media regarding the issue that the government will uphold the contract the government had with GMR and will solve the problems in the agreement by mutual discussions.
