3 Ministers to Address Public on Economic Status

The cabinet yesterday decided to share with the public, important findings on the economic status of the country.
The decision was made following deliberations on a presentation on the fiscal state of the country, presented by the acting Minister of Finance and Treasury, Minister of Economic Development Ahmed Mohamed.
At today’s meeting, members also discussed the challenges faced in executing this year’s budget, and agreed that disclosing these information to the public was of much importance. It was also decided that three members of the cabinet would brief the public this evening at a press conference, regarding the fiscal state of the country.
Members also discussed the immediate measures to be taken in marinating a sustainable economic reform process.
