We should work to purify our life- President

President Mohamed Nasheed has said that we should all work to purify our life taking lessons from time.

In his weekly radio address, the President said that we should leave the differences, hatred and envy between us and to work for brotherhood and unity.

President Nasheed also stressed the importance of I’tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan.

“As it is known, in accordance to Islamic rituals in the last ten days of Ramadan, the Muslim secludes himself solely for the worship of his Lord. And it was the way of the noble Messenger,” said the President.

President also expressed his hope that all will prioritize their spirituality over their material needs in these last ten days of Ramadan.
