In a media release, they said that MDP and the coalition parties have been working in the Majlis and other institutions prioritizing national interests for the greater benefit of the citizenry. MDP coalition also noted that they have been working within the boundaries of the constitution.

“However, opposition DRP and their coalition have been obstructing our sincere work,” said the media release.

MDP coalition also alleged they have always worked on to find a solution to the disputes by coming to common terms though the opposition has been obstructing their work.

Furthermore, MDP coalition accused the opposition coalition of blocking every motion of the Government in helping the citizenry.

MDP coalition is formed among Social Liberal Party, Adhaalath Party, Maldives National Congress and Labour Party.
