Copyrights Bill was not passed by Majlis

Bill on copyrights has not been passed by the Peoples’ Majlis session held yesterday.
Majlis endorsed 5 amendments from the 7 proposed. But however, the bill was not passed when a vote was called among the MPs.
The bill was sent back to the committee for further amendments under the article 85.
Meanwhile, the Majlis yesterday approved the nominations to the Tax Appeal Tribunal.
Ahmed Afif, Gulbahaaruge, Baa Thulhaadoo; Abdul Salaam Arif, Eetujehige, Noonu Maafaru; Nasrullah Jameel, Nalamala, Laamu Maavah; Ahmed Saavi, register no. 5295 and Hassan Zuhair Mohamed, G. Maavarulu were endorsed as the members of Tax Appeal Tribunal.
