Government has always been up for negotiation – Press Secretary

Press Secretary Mohamed Zuhair has said that Maldives government has always been up for negotiation with opposition to remove the deadlock in the political crisis of the country.

Zuhair also noted that government has been trying to negotiate with the opposition even before the crisis.

“For instance we have tried to negotiate in the presence of US Ambassador Butenis. And of course we tried the same with Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajpakse” he added.
