Business Seminar on “New Vision for Economic Cooperation between India and Maldives” to be held

As part of the India Maldives Friendship Festival (INMAFF) 2010, the High Commission of India and State Bank of India, Maldives are, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Government of Maldives, the Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MNCCI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organizing a Business Seminar on “New Vision for Economic Cooperation between India and Maldives” from 1000-1300 hrs, 22 July 2010, Hotel Holiday Inn, Male.
The business seminar aims to create proper awareness among the business community of both the countries on the inherent advantages in increasing the level of bilateral commercial engagement and also outline the future opportunities on either side. A select group of top Maldivian business persons from varied sectors and visiting Indian business delegates are expected to take part in the proceedings.
Already a number of leading Indian corporate companies like the GMR Infrastructure, Kargwal Construction, Taj Group of Hotels, State Bank of India, GATI Logistics, Hauer Associates, Sun Edison Energy India Limited, and Aqua Chill Systems have confirmed their participation in the event. The event aims to bring together on a single platform, the business representatives and decision makers of both the countries to promote and establish a mutually beneficial long term business relationship.
