Germany will assist in Maldives police training

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed Shaheed has said Germany is scheduled to provide assistance for Maldives police training. Dr. Shaheed also said that this was an outcome of the President’s visit to Germany last week.
Dr. Shaheed also said that the material action would soon begin and will teach the Police how to work in a democratic society. Dr. Shaheed also said that the project will be sponsored by Germans and the training would be held in the Maldives.
According to reports, German police officials are best among Europe.
