DRP local leader attacks his MDP counterpart in Maafushi

DRP’s leader in Maafushi has attacked MDP’s leader in Maafushi with an iron bar, reports indicates.

Bushry, MDP’s leader said that when he was outside the Health Post of the island, Zuhoor, DRP’s leader came to him and attacked and that three other men had participated with Zuhoor in attacking Bushry.

Bushry said that the reason of the attack was because of the increasing popularity of MDP in the island.
