IDP warned of an imminent attack against its records and assets
Article Tools
Question of dissolving IDP is turning from bad to worse it seems, as a press release from IDP had said that it had been warned of an imminent attack on its records and assets.
The press release said that IDP had asked to return its goods and properties from those who had high-jacked them, as Elections Commission had said that the party cannot be dissolved at the moment. However, they, implying IDP’s former president Umar Naseer who was hell-bent on dissolving the party, had warned that its records and properties will be attacked in an SMS sent to the key officials of the party.
The press release also said that if the politicians take differences of opinion as a personal grudge, then a better option for those politicians would be to quit politics and said that politics cannot be a one-man show.
IDP also assured that it will take any action which is required to protect its records, assets and members and said that prompt legal actions would taken against any such attack
