Monday, February 8th, 2010

Mohamed Zuhair, President’s press secretary has said that the government is trying to identify the real organizers of “November 3” attack against the Maldives which killed many Maldivians, including civilians. Press secretary also said that its findings would be published for the record.

Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Mohamed Zuhair said that he do not believe Ahmed Nasir and Abdulla Luthfy as the key organizers of the attack.

“Information we have gathered suggest that they are third grade participants of the attack” he said.

Zuhair also said that that Nasir and Luthfy has been released to house arrest” he said. “We recived some reports that Nasir is out on streets from time to time but they have to be under house arrest”.

“We want to let public know what really happened” Zuhair said.

Zuhair had also said in 2008 that investigating November 3 attack and uncovering the truth of the attack is a very important area which the government will work on.

Juha, dont do that, if you try, you will stampede your own (as president say) Do you think Sikka was the real organiser? maybe he gave an AK 47 to both Luthufi and Sagaru nasir and ran like mad bulls on the street of Male while terrorists slaughtered Maldivians. You have a smelly mouth only Juha, thats all you got. Enjoy the 5 years………..

  2. The truth is very clear. Who funded the coup? Sikka – Nashee’s uncle. Who and who were behind it? Top people of current government. What are we trying to prove, when a daylight robbery is carried out? The funniest thing is that democracy brought up WMD’s (Weapons of Mass Destructions) in Iraq – it was never ever in Iraq. Just like that democracy – democrazy – is gonna whitewash the 1988 coup and the leaders will be rewarded as “stragglers against oppression” – funny and pity eh
