Civil Court decides to summon Finance Minister

Civil Court has decided to summon Ali Hashim, Minister of Finance and Treasury if Maldives Customs Service fails to pay MRF 1,896,558 to Alpheebia Private Limited within 5 days.
According to the Court Customs overcharged the amount when they calculated import tax for a boat imported by the Company. According to the Court Finance Minister has been asked twice to pay the dues and that why it has been unable to pay that the money.
The Company had asked the Court to implement the court order on provide social the rights of the leaser.
