Two alleged drug dealers caught in Hulhumeedhoo

Two people suspected of drug dealing in Seenu atoll Hulhumeedhoo have been arrested with 41 packets of alleged drugs.
According to Maldives Police Services (MPS) in the island, those arrested were Seenu Meedhoo Hassan Rasheed of 26 years and another one from the same island who is a minor.
They were arrested on a tip off on Tuesday evening around 22.30 in an abandoned residential place in Meedhoo.
On searching the house, police found 40 packets containing suspected illegal drugs and one more packet was found on Hassan Rasheed.
This arrest was made a day after MPS arrested a man while he was transporting illegal drugs from Seenu Atoll Hithadhoo to Feydhoo on a motorbike.
