MNDF had begun work on improving Dhuvaafaru roads

MNDF had begun a programme to develop the roads of newly inhabited Raa Atoll Dhuvaafaru.

MNDF began the work after a special ceremony held today. Chief Guest of the ceremony was Dhuvaafaru councilor Ibrahim Rasheed. The ceremony was attended by the Commanding Officer of the MNDF Engineering Service Captain Ali Waheed, participants of the programme and Dhuvaafaru people.

The programme which was funded by IFRC began from the house number 1 of the island. The roads will be developed as per the IFRC standards and will develop 16 kilometers of road in the island.
