MMA to release new Mrf 20 note soon

Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has said that they will be releasing the new Mrf 20 note on 19 of this month.
MMA said this in a press release issued on the 2 November to alert the public as the new Mrf 20 note that has been printed will bear a different date and signature. The press release stated that the new Mrf 20 note will be signed by the governor of MMA Fazeel Najeeb and it will be dated 29 December 2008 and 1 Muharram 1430. The old Mrf 20 note will be circulated along with the new.
The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) was established on 1st July 1981, and is endowed with the regular powers and obligations of a central bank.
