New’s chances to clinch the Wataniya Dhivehi League increases

victory newThe recent confrontation between the giants , New Radiant Sports Club and Victory Sports Club , on Saturday night resulted in a 2- nil victory to New Radiant increasing the club chances to clinch the Wataniya Dhivehi League championship.

New Radiant’s win has created difficulties for Victory’s hopes to be league champions. Victory’s inability to narrow the point difference between VB and the club has increased the chances for VB.

During the first 45 minutes of play, both teams were unable to produce any results. However, just before half time, New Radiant’s captain Ahmed Mohamed (Ammaday ) scored, shooting past the Victory’s goal keeper Imran Mohamed in to the back of the net.

At the beginning of the second half, New Radiant’s Liberian forward Samual scored, bringing the results to 2- nil. During the match new Radiant’s players had created many chances to score, most notable were chances created by Hussain Shimaz (kokee) and Samweel Gasim (Bonda). However, the match ended without further change to the results. Samual was chosen as man of the match.

  1. there’s no chance new radiant can win dhivehi league this year. learn the facts and stats guys.. dont mislead the readers.. only victory and Vb has a chance to win the league.. even before new radiant beat victory that’s the case.. still it is the case..
