FIFA organized referees training program concludes

The FIFA organized referees training program, which commenced here in Male’ on Friday will conclude today.

The program is attended by 15 referee instructors from 9 Asian countries and 2 Maldivian referees.

The two Maldivian referees taking part in the FIFA organized training program are Mohamed Saeed, assistant referee, who officiated in the last FIFA World Championships and FIFA assistant referee Ahmed Abeer. Further FIFA assistant referees Ahmed Ummeedh and Ahmed Ammez are also taking part as observers.

Information at the program is being given by an Australian female referee Tamy Augston. She was one of the referees who officiated in the FIFA Women’s Championships.

Other instructors providing information at the program are Fenando Garcia / Senior Manager , FIFA Referee Development , Masood from Iran and Victor from Kirgizstan / FIFA Instructors and FIFA Referee Development Officer Muhusin Arif from Sri Lanka.
