Three Chinese and a Bangladeshi in custody for prostitution charges

The police had said that three Chinese and a Bangladeshi man had been caught red-handed in a guesthouse in H. White Stream’s fourth floor,
In the weekly briefing police said that three Chinese were 36 year old Cheizia Zuangm, 38 year old Ziufang One and 26 year old Lihua Rao and a Bangladesh man known as Muhabbab Aalam.

“Simultaneously two Chinese women were serving in two different rooms with their clients. Bangladesh man was one of the clients. The police checked the room and identified money they had raised by prostitution and a passport, whose owner had voluntarily surrendered. We are investigating the matter and they have got tourist visas.

He also said there is no direct contact between them and the owner of the house as well as the management of the guesthouse. However police said that there had been a recent increase in number of cases of foreigners conducting prostitution business in the Maldives and warned the public to be aware of that.
