Qasim commence campaign trips to atolls

Jumhoory Party’s presidential candidate Qasim Ibrahim has commenced his campaign trips to the atolls to meet the people and seek support to win the forthcoming presidential elections.
Qasim in his first campaign trip to the atolls visited the islands of Guraidhoo , Gulhi and Maafushi of Male’ atoll. In these islands Qasim met the meet people, inquired on their well being, listened to their complaints and shared his development strategies he planned to implement under his leadership.
When he visited the island of Guraidhoo large amounts of people, young and old, had gathered on the beach to welcome him. He shared his thoughts and plans for future development of the country and answered the questions of the island’s youth.
He next visited the island of Maafushi where he was awarded an equally warm reception. In Maafushi he walked about the island, talked to the people and shred his development strategies planned for the country under his leadership. He also inquired on the well being of the islanders.
From Maafushi he moved on to the island of Gulhi. After offering Asru prayers in Gulhi, he spent time with islanders sharing his thoughts on the future development of the country.
The campaign trips made to Gulhi, Maafushi and Guraidhoo under the slogan “Qasim for Change” was a huge success, according to Jumhoory Party. JP also said large percentage of the islands population has already signed up to the party.
JP’s Presidential candidate Qasim is accompanied by the party’s Vice Leader and MP for Ga atoll Abdulla Jabir, JP’s Parliamentary Group Leader and MP for Fuvahmulah Mohamed Ibrahim Didi and MP for Thaa atoll Mohamed Shareef . Further the delegation is also joined by top leaders of Adhaalath Party and Maldives National Congress.
